kukkiri asked: I don't have an iPad, and never plan on getting one. I'm sorry if others have already asked this, but will you make your app available elsewhere in the future, for example, Google play?
That’s a tough question. On the other hand we know that Android is a huge platform, but on the other hand the content sales just don’t seem to be there. At the moment it appears that Android users just aren’t that interested in purchasing content on their devices.
It’s not a problem for Crunchyroll, because their business model is very different – their Android app is simply one window into the service, and it isn’t necessary for users to manage the actual subscription on their Android devices. But we’re a store and not a subscription service, so we’d need to see a huge demand from Android users before we could justify the development of a separate Android app. (Your request is the second one to date.)
So to answer the question, we don’t have concrete plans to do that at the moment. But that could change in the future.
Awesome. All of my devices run on Android, so you can definitely sign me up for the early list.
Hey everyone, fans of shoujo manga and Watanabe Kana, she has a new anthology coming out this month on the 25th called “Bokura no Yukue wa”. It’s another compilation of oneshots, and this is just one of the cute panels that can be found from the story. If you’re interested at all, you can definitely read the whole eponymous oneshot HERE. The color page is even included in the preview, isn’t that neat? But most of all, even if you can’t read Japanese, remember that it’s important to support the authors and the publisher by regularly buying the work that they put out.
The Japanese title is 「ぼくらのゆくえは」, so if you’re interested in buying it from a Japanese language bookstore or website, please type that in.
Chizuru actually turned out to be my favorite out of the five boys, especially through the character he shows as he continually supports Mary in her own one-sided love, despite the pain it brings him as well. I’m sure that a lot of people think he’s childish, and therefore annoying, but it’s just how his enthusiasm for life pours out. He never fails to put others before himself, and he genuinely loves all of his friends. Remember how he fell down the tree and seriously hurt himself as child, but laughed off the pain so that Yuki wouldn’t feel bad about the situation? Or, in these three episodes that focus on his romance with Mary, how much he cares about Mary and only wants her to be happy, content with herself? But that’s not all, he’s also shown that he has the guts to show himself for who he is, without letting others pull him down.
How can you not love him?
